赵世瑜，1959年生，北京师范大学历史学硕士、文学博士。现为历史系教授、博士生导师。主要著作有《清皇父摄政王多尔衮全传》（合著）、《吏与中国传统社会》、《眼光向下的革命》及译著《欧洲史学新方向》等。重点研究16世纪以来的基层社会与民间文化。

杜希德（1925—2006），英国汉学家、历史学家，主要研究中国隋唐史，历任英国剑桥大学第六任汉学讲座教授和美国普林斯顿大学胡应湘汉学讲座教授，1967年被选为英国学术院院士。与美国哈佛大学学者费正清共同主编《剑桥中国史》。
